La Tavola Italiana means the Italian Table, and if you love Italian food, and culture, then this is the place for your event! Rehearsal dinners are our specialty. Bridal showers, baptism’s, communions, birthday’s, engagements, retirement’s, any event large or small, we’ve even had a few weddings here! Carmela and Jolina will help you create a memorable event and are looking forward to meeting you!
General Information
- Our restaurant holds up to about 150 people very comfortably. There are two rooms. The main dining room, and the Terrazza, which is about ½ the size of the main dining room.
- We use white linens, and have napkins in black for the main dining room, red in the terrazza, white napkins are also available.
- Parties up to 45 people may rent the Terrazza for private events.
- Parties over 45 will be seated in the main dining room with a divider, to accommodate other diner’s.
- There will be a fee or guest minimum if you wish to use the entire main dining room or entire restaurant on a business day.
- Sunday’s we are closed. But if you wish to hold an event on a Sunday there is a 50 person minimum.
- We open at 4pm, if you wish to host a lunch/brunch your event must end by 3:15 so we can clean and set-up for our dinner service.
Menus
There is no standard set menu for parties at our restaurant. We want to create a menu that you will love, so be creative, the sky is the limit. We will be happy to cook anything you like, even if it’s not on our current menu.
Use our current menu as a price guide, and to get an idea about the kind of food you would like to serve at your event.
There are a few different ways you can choose your menu.
- Family Style: This is a great option for fun conversation and a relaxed dinner. You will choose appetizers, salad, and dinner all to be passed around from guest to guest on platters and large bowls.
- Choice: You may choose up to 3 dinner entrées for your guests to choose from. We need to know how many of each ahead of time, and you should provide a way for the servers to know which guest gets which type of dinner, place cards work well with color coding.
- One Meal for All: Everyone gets the same entrée.
- Buffet: This is recommended for larger groups, when there is ample space in the restaurant, events on Sunday’s when the restaurant is closed to other customer’s or funeral wakes are the best time to do a buffet.
Appetizer’s and Dessert’s
We recommend appetizers for a large group, it helps to have something for your guests to munch on while they are all arriving, and getting drinks and wine opened. You can be simple or extravagant. One appetizer serves approximately 3-4 people. This will help you know how much to order.
Many wonderful homemade desserts are available, but we understand you might have a favorite bakery you might like to use for your event. Outside cakes and or desserts are welcome. There is a $1 per person fee for this. Our staff will cut and serve your dessert for you.
Cork Fee: Our standard cork fee applies, if you are brining a lot, we offer a price per person for unlimited bottles.
